I have several open email tabs but they are showing nothing and when I find the email in my in box it opens blank I've also had problems with thunderbird opening have had to restart computer several times?

When I open Thunderbird it is sending my emails directly to the deleted folder. I have tried all-sorts and cannot find an answer. I transferred Thunderbird to my new PC and all was working okay for a few weeks then all of a sudden there were emails missing from my inboxes and I found them in the deleted folder. I am 76 years old and need an easy step by step solution please ..... John

I have two Yahoo accounts in Thunderbird. One uses normal password and works great. For the second one, Thunderbird forced me into OAuth2 and it constantly returns all kinds of connectivity errors. I've tried to re-add the account with normal password, but Thunderbird returns that the password is not correct. What is pCENT? Is there a way to force Thunderbird into using normal password?

On 3 August, Thunderbird was automatically updated on my Mac Mini to Version 155.0. Ever since, all incoming mail is placed in a folder called Satellite Radio, and distribution to the proper mailboxes stops.

This morning Thunderbird asked me to update which I duly did. Once done all messages started disappearing from inbox. Eventually I found them and moved them back to inbox only for it to happen again

Have now tried 3 times, same result, every single email from Inbox keeps being moved to deleted in Local Folders

All new emails that have come in since appear for a micro second in Inbox before being moved to Deleted

This is obviously not a great situation to put it mildly and as it has never happened before and started straight after this morning's update I can only assume that the update is to blame

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mozilla Thunderbird will not pull through new emails to my inbox. The message is this: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox. I've checked that I have enough disk space so not sure what the problem is or where to go to make sure the file system allows me to write privileges.

I'm new to the community and don't really know how things work, so maybe this is the wrong place for this. I had a seemingly catastrophic problem after updating yesterday. All of the emails sitting in my inbox disappeared, and were gone from the yahoo server as well. Long story short, I figured out what happened. In my filter rules I sometimes had a blank entry at the end of the list. Previously that had been ignored, but after the update it is now treated as a match. So the first filter that had a blank in it caused everything in my inbox to be moved to a certain folder in my Local Folders. Obviously, it would be legitimate to not allow blank entries in the filters, but once you've allowed it, you really shouldn't make a change. In the end the solution was simple, but it wasted a fair portion of my day figuring it out.

Trying to add new account on latest Thunderbird instillation, added information/configuration what I use on another computer and in the end it says: Component returned failure code: 0x804b000a (NS_ERROR_MALFORMED_URI) [nslOService.newURI]

Checked 10x for typing errors and it says same error. These account settings works great on previous versions wihtout Account Hub

How can I solve this?

Suddenly two days ago all my emails began going to Spam when the download. I know of no changes to my system or Thunderbird. I deleted everything in my Spam folder and reset training, but that didn't help.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Aloha. I'm helping a friend with setting up a new Windows 11 PC, and cannot get Thunderbird to connect to Spectrum's servers. I spent an hour on the phone with Spectrum support and they just gave up and said it must be an issue with Thunderbird. Here are the details:

- Brand new Dell 24 All-in-One EC24250 - Windows 11 25H2 plus all additional fixes. - All Dell drivers updated. - Thunderbird V155.0 64-bit

If I click on 'Get Messages' after a while I get: "Connection to server mail.twc.com timed out". I've gone into the config editor and changed mailnews.tcptimeout from 100 to 500 and still get the error.

In the Account Settings | Server Settings | Test server connection I get: An error occurred connecting to mail.twc.com:993.

I've tried this with both setting up a brand new account in Thunderbird, and also via copying the 'Thunderbird' folder from %appdata%\roaming from her old machine.

Email configuration (from Spectrum).

IMAP Settings Server name: mail.twc.com Port: 993 user name: abcd@hawaii.rr.com Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication method: Normal password

SMTP settings Server Name: mail.twc.com Port 587 Connection Security: STARTTLS Authentication method: Normal password

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this scenario?

Starting yesterday for no apparent reason TB has been unable to connect to my email accounts. (IMAP or POP). These include Roadrunner, Gmail and Outlook.

Any Ideas? James

   I am already "signed-in" (by Password Mgr.) so can't get
   the Mozilla Account Sign-in Dialog, so don't see a link to
   "Forgot Password"

   So if I "log out", my data will be erased, and I don't know where -
   or if - I have a local copy.  So far, a search hasn't found anything
   or I don't know exactly what to search for.  Catch-22.  If I could
   get back to the login dialog without losing the stored data, I HAVE
   a Recovery Key.

   What can I do?  Please help me, O'Obi Wan Kanobe!

I am using thunderbird client on arch linux. I am trying to filter by adding "Reply-To" as a filter. If i look into the source of the email i am trying to filter (i get like 100s of spam messages and only the Reply To seems to be from the same domain in the end) the Reply-To appears in there.

Any idea how to fix that? The other rules work fine, this one only seems to not work

Problem with message are going to the Trash folder, not the Inbox with all local folders in place. After taken in profile the local folders off, the new downloading from message are working just fine to the Inbox . What is the problem Thanks for helping.

When Updating from v68 to the next version up, the sub-folders I had on my 2nd email account (POP) all disappeared on the left panel but still exists on windows explorer as I can see all the files.

1. Using v68.12 with 3 Email Accounts (POP). I only download 1 email account from Network Solutions for the past 5 years. 2. Email 1 - name2.domain, Email 2 - used when Soccer Coach, Email 3 - everyday email I get downloaded from Network Solutions. 3. When I tried updating years ago, from v68.12 to the v 78s or so, all the local folders I set up under Email 1 disappeared but the folder structure remain on the hard drive. 4. If I move the files out, then in Thunderbird, right click and create the folder again called Email - BW the folder is created and blank. 5. Then I shutdown Thunderbird and move the files back and then when I go back into Thunderbird I see some of the folders. 6. If I repeat this process, I see some of the folders and I don't see other. 7. I am trying to export the data out of the Email - BW folder, but the Using IMportExport NG in v68 doesn't match up with the version with Thunberbird v153. 8. Do I need to try to load Thunderbird 78 and try to import the files? I have the data file. I have the msf file I have the folder.sbd file It just doesn't show up on the left panel? Help Please.

When sending a message, the email reaches the recipient but is not saved in the sender’s account. This email is not displayed anywhere — neither in the web version nor in Thunderbird. Please help resolve the issue.
